An engineer with experience in gas generation would be of interest to us but this is not essential.

Depending upon experience and qualifications this role would command a salary of up to £40,000 (depending on experience and location) + overtime, other benefits and an on call allowance.

At YorPower we run an engineer development structure so that there is a clear path and a commitment to training.

All engineers are paid from door-to-door. They log in to our systems to start traveling to the first job and then log off when they arrive home from the last job.

On average our engineers benefit from 10 hrs overtime a week. This is usually achieved through planned works. This is paid at time and a half at the evenings and on Saturday and double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

There's also a regional on-call rota that would be 1 in 5. So every fifth week we would expect you to be available to be called out. A payment is made to anyone on call irrespective of whether hey are called out or not. If called out out of hours overtime rates would apply.

Oh, and you should be prepared for odd fancy dress day in aid of a worthy charity now and again. The Christmas sing-along video is always great fun as well!
