PPSPower have recently renewed their approved statuses across five accreditations, demonstrating a commitment to the highest standards of health and safety and best practice.
Since 1956, we have been a trusted supplier of back-up power solutions. These accreditation renewals show our willingness to continue to strive for improvements. It also puts us on the frontline for winning future works.

The accreditations we have received include:
· National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
· SafeContractor
· Achilles (UVDB)
· CHAS
· Constructionline
We are also certified to ISO 9001: 2008, which is defined as the international standard that specifies for a Quality Management System (QMS). We are assessed annually and the (QMS) is applicable to procurement, supply, installation, refurbishment and servicing of generator systems and fire pumping systems. NICEIC
NICEIC positions the company as an ‘approved contractor’ after completing the rigorous competence audit, including the evaluation of completed maintenance work and the experience and qualifications of staff.
SafeContractor
This proves we are meeting high standards of health and safety. To be successful we needed to prove our safety policy, health and safety arrangements and training, work equipment procedures, risk assessments and electrical safety. This approval means we can immediately display our compliance with health and safety law to potential clients.
Achilles UVDB
This is the utility industry pre-qualification system used across the UK. It develops supply chain practices and protocols with PPSPower fully registered as a supplier on its database.
CHAS
An advisor on health and safety compliance which sets industry benchmarks, provide assurance and reassurance. Accreditation shows PPSPower meets the required health and safety standards, having passed several assessments covering all areas of health and safety.
Constructionline
This Government-run scheme collects and monitors the company information, looking at financials to operational processes such as health and safety. It opens up PPSPower to a potential whole host of new clients.
