Stephen Peal, Group Managing Director of YorPower, is used to guiding his team to success in the field of back-up power, with installations and maintenance solutions delivered throughout the UK for clients in all industry sectors.
As of Sunday 7th May, Stephen’s success extended to the football field as the team he coaches (with Tony Emmott) – Gomersal & Cleckheaton U13 Brazil – finished at the top of their league.
“Nearly all the games were challenging as there are some very talented and hardworking lads in the Huddersfield Macron Junior Football League U13 Division 7. But I’m delighted to say that we stuck to our game plan and our never-say-die spirit prevailed,” explained Stephen.
“We won our last game of the season 5-2 over Elland Juniors U13 Crocs to finish with 45 points – six points ahead of Huddersfield LH AFC Juniors U13 Pumas. That’s a huge turnaround from last season, when we finished bottom of the league with only one win.
“Perhaps we should use ‘failure is not an option’ as the slogan for our team as well as our company!”
