Parts & Warehouse Supervisor
Main purpose of the job:
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a dynamic and hardworking parts team. Reporting to our Parts Supervisor you will be inputting data for all our parts and asset information. You will assist with the ordering of parts to enable our engineers to efficiently carryout their works in the field.
You will be part of the overall team both internal and external and work together to achieve the targets set from the board and the management team.
Main Duties:

Support the service team and sales team to progress jobs ready to be planned in.

Manage stock effectively and contribute to ensuring we can deliver excellent service on site.

Assist with technical knowledge on the ordering of parts / prebuilds when engineers ask for assistance.

Place orders for the business and its requirements.

Pick and Pack stock ready to be distributed to the engineers.

Maximise distribution by planning effectively

Apply various sales skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities through negotiation of prices/up selling.

Maintain a high level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective suppliers.

Pro-actively seek best pricing by targeting a combination of lapsed suppliers, existing suppliers and prospective suppliers.

Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations; compiling information on the desired requirements.

Support quotation pricing from enquiries received in a timely manner.

Liaise between service operations and internal sales to efficiently answer general enquiries.

Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives.

Achieve team targets as set by the Management Team within the agreed time scale.

Ensure all prospects and orders received are entered into the simPro system accurately.

Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist.

You should have excellent attention to detail when entering information in to our internal systems.

Remuneration
£21.5k + company bonus scheme.
