UPS Business Development Manager
Director (working closely with UPS Manager)
Main purpose of the job:
Driving sales of Uninterruptible Power Supplies service contracts and new installations in the UK. Identifying new opportunities through new clients, up-selling with existing clients and revisiting lost contracts.
Identify new opportunities with Facilities Management companies through networking current PPS relationships and developing new relationships.
Cold calling and setting own appointments as well as attending appointments set by the internal sales team.
Working closely with the PPS UPS team supporting them with site visits for existing customers.
Maths & English - GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C
Skills & Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in selling service contracts in a similar industry (ideally UPS maintenance).
Driven and highly motivated, as the UPS Business Development Manager, you must have strong influencing, organisational and communication skills. You must also be able to work effectively from home.
Sound relationship building skills with customers with a strong customer service attitude. Someone who can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile and exceed expectations and KPI’s.
£25k - 35k pa (depending on experience) + Bonus, laptop, mobile phone.
