Job Title: Account Manager - UK Sales & Projects
Reports to:

Group Managing Director, with support from Senior UK Account Manager

Based from:

Field/Home based.

Good proximity to our head office in Sherburn in Elmet is an advantage.

Main purpose of the job:

YorPower have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a dynamic and hardworking field sales team.

 

Reporting to the Group Managing Director you will be responsible for all sales opportunities for Generator sales and project works within the UK. 

Ideally you will come from a technical sales role that has experience of selling into construction projects. 

You will be expected to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities through strong relationships and negotiation. You will be part of the overall sales & marketing team both internal and external, and work together to achieve the targets set from the board.

Main Duties:
  • Pro-actively seek new business.

  • Qualify incoming sales opportunities to ensure time is spent in the right areas to deliver results.

  • Apply various sales skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities through negotiation.

  • Maintain a high level of pro-active contact with both existing and prospective customers.

  • Effectively deal with Generator sales and project enquiries requesting quotations, compiling information on the desired requirements.

  • Create technically detailed quotations.

  • Present enquiries within given timescales.

  • Proactively chase sales quotations with a strong desire to close.

  • Control of the sales cycle.

  • Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives and sales targets.

  • Maximise sales by continually expanding orders and up selling.

  • Be able to update CRM systems and interrogate the reporting functions.

  • Visit key accounts proactively.

  • Attend site visits as required.

  • You should have excellent attention to detail when entering information into our internal systems.

Remuneration & Benefits

£35,000 per annum, plus bonus. Negotiable depending on experience.
